Do you encounter challenges with controlling the number of workflows? Or keeping document recommendations and edits within PolicyStat? If so, you’re not alone. Consider these strategies to help streamline workflows: Ensure you have aDocument Management Policy* that addresses who can create workflows and a Procedure that outlines the steps for requesting approvals. Conduct an annual review of workflows to identify any that are not in use,in limited use), or appear to be a duplicate. Thenevaluate those that can be deleted, merged or revised. Require that all recommendations and edits for documents managed in PolicyStat be made in the software. *This would be part of your Document Management Policy Anyone else have recommendations?
Workflow Challenges.... Streamlining the work
Reposting a Question from @Rebecca Montgomery RE: Nursing area workflows I would love to see another hospital’s workflow for nursing and the different nursing areas. We are trying to build a streamline system and keep everything to a minimum, but nursing has so many layers and we’re just not sure how to do that for their area. For example, we can’t just list nursing, because the workflow for Emergency Department would look different than nurses for ICU. Any feedback is appreciated.
